My Bio

I rode hogs before they were a fashion statement. I always wanted a 750 chop, so I bought out a garage full of CB750s & parts (4 complete stockers & spares). I've accumulated a few more SOHC 750s for future chops too.
Since then, I've finished a Santee Rigid Arm framed scoot, & I have several others in the works.

I have a Honda Valkyrie, '74 CB360, & a Suzuki Savage 650 thumper for the old lady, '81 Kaw KZ550 basket case, '73 Yamaha TX500 (verticle twin... kinda like an old Triumph), & an '80 CB750 stocker i plan to put a side car on.

(note: the bold red are photo links)

The Ol Lady & I have been together since '79. Linda ( or CC, for chopper chick) & I have 3 kids (the oldest is my step-daughter, but I raised her), 5 grandkids, & 3 dogs. Only the dogs are still at home.

I lived in Ohio for ever, although I was born in Nurenburg, Germany. The OL is originally from W. Va.
I'm an only child... she the eldest of 11 kids!!! I kinda inherited a big family.

I've been a gear head as long as I can remember. I didn't choose it as a vocation, because I liked it too much to make it a "job".

My Occupation

Electronic Tech for the U.S. Postal Service
I keep the machines running that rip up your mail.

Before that, I repaired guidance computers & inertial navigation systems for ICBMs... no really. I worked for the Air force as a civilian for about 8 years. I loved that job, but the suck-ass polititions closed the base I worked at. So I Went Postal

Before the Air Force job, I worked in consumer electronics for about 15 years, repaired TVs, stereo, 2-way radio, computers (started on Atari & Commodor!), music amps, etc. I ended up as General Manager of the shop before I got sick of it & moved on.

My Hobbies

ridin', messin' with bikes, workin' in the garage, good scotch, good bourbon, good beer, good cigars.
